Can Men and Women just be “friends”?

One of you lovely people here on SW brought up an interesting point..

Is it possible for men and women to just be friends? Or Is there always that chance that one of them might fall in love with the other?

I’m curious to hear some personal experiences or opinions 😅

I have friends. Some of them happen to be women.
I don't see them as being different than I see my men friends.
My being friends with someone has nothing to do with their sex.
There's no difference.
