Can Men and Women just be “friends”?

One of you lovely people here on SW brought up an interesting point..

Is it possible for men and women to just be friends? Or Is there always that chance that one of them might fall in love with the other?

I’m curious to hear some personal experiences or opinions 😅

I say no, but I can only speak for myself.
The only man I've ever been able to sustain a long-term platonic friendship with, is my brother-in-law. But he was my "bro" before he even met my sister and he's "family" now.

Y'know that friendzone that everybody says doesn't exist?
People don't seem to like it there.

@SW-User I'm not sure who "him" is (and this isn't me prying 😅) but if either of you have "feelings", choose your words carefully.
That's usually where "I" lose my male friends.
