Can Men and Women just be “friends”?

One of you lovely people here on SW brought up an interesting point..

Is it possible for men and women to just be friends? Or Is there always that chance that one of them might fall in love with the other?

I’m curious to hear some personal experiences or opinions 😅

Yes yes yes they can. I've done this for years. It's helped me in so many ways--even in my relationships because I can get them to "interpret" what my gfs do--or if I'm messing up. I would not trade my women friends for anything.

@SW-User I have totally done that for a woman friend of mine. We were at the movies and some guy kept turning around to check her out. I told him to relax, that I'm just her friend---and it went from there.

@SW-User We looked like a couple. I was around 23, 5' 11", dark hair/eyes, decent shape, she was 20, around 5' 8" and a gymnast(body to match). I was totally aware of how she looked but not attracted to her.
