New Year's Eve Party

As some of you may or may not know I've became great friends with this lovely lady, @SarahTheHooker, this year, alongside her partner, Adrian.

As her handle suggests, she's a woman of the night. Whatever. She's a lovely person and we meet up every week or so. She came to our engagement party and myself and Matt have been invited to Adrian's house for a New Year's Party.

I've briefly met some of her work colleagues, who seem really lovely and they'll be food and drink around for all the guests.

Sarah has given me the head's up that '...don't be surprised to see some of the girls taking drugs, Cass. There's a few, including my boss, that do. They'll be quite blatant about it all too...' .

So...a little bit wary about all that.

...and, of course, tomorrow is my Birthday!

Matt is a little worried too - he's a little shy around people sometimes and certainly, like myself, not interested in the drug scene. It's not anything we've been around before.

Sarah said not to worry about drinks being spiked or anything like that. Nothing like that happens. She went on to mention that if some of the girls aren't bothered about people watching them having sex in the street they're certainly not going to be bothered about taking tablets or snorting cocaine.

We'll stay for a bit, I'm sure...but probably not until the end of the night.
