If only it was that easy for all of us. The few times I found myself in the friendzone I didn't start out being into the person. My affection grew for her in ways hers didn't for me. I stayed because I cared more about my friend than my libido. I do usually avoid having any relationship with anyone I find attractive but it's just impossible to avoid sometimes. I think sometimes people are like magnets, they can attract and they can repel but they don't always get to decide which reaction happens with whom.
You have the right mindset. I have been friendzoned but it only made me stronger for it
