I have a great friend who is a woman. she is my girl, she is the person who i came out to years ago. i can joke and have fun with her. she makes me feel good everytime i see her.
@Chelsiegirl That's awesome you have someone like that. I wish I had a friend like that. 😔 I have trust issues though cause of shitty people.

@Chelsiegirl Thats a rare, good for you finding that one. :)
relate sm. my friends completely ignore my existence and then tell me im quiet and antisocial, and they absolutely dont like me until they need me to do shit for them.

@rainkeepingmesane our current culture is boisterous and quite into pushing opinions. There's little room for quiet and self reflection.

I think you just have manipulative friends. And the chances that they're all girls happens to be what you experience.
There are good girls out there. And there are good guys. There are also the opposites. Just base it on the person instead of the group.

I haven't experienced that. I love my girls. Even those who I'm not still friends with, they weren't manipulative or bad people.

I’ve experienced it, but I’ve also met plenty of sh!tty guys. Just comes down to having boundaries and not investing in lousy people.
I experienced this when I was younger. But now I prefer hanging out with women. I’m selective with who I let close to me though.

It certainly can be exhausting, but I'm used to it by now. Thankfully I am wise enough now to keep my distance now and then.
