Vulnerablity...

Just talking to someone and it really made me think about why I don't have close friends...
In all my friendships I've been really open and vulnerable.
Letting them into various subject and areas of my life whilst they never let me past surface level stuff.
If you ask them a question about their day theyre so vague, or if they look a little down in the dumps it's always like: "yea, I'll be OK..."

😕😏

You know what I think sometimes it’s nice to have a few friends that don’t know the depths of your soul. I find that with some people at work and I’m happy with that. They’re there in a different way for me, to kind of forget about all the shit and just have a laugh about random life shit, like who is the most scandalous on married at first sight, even though i don’t watch it or when the next ranganation starts. It makes the stronger connections I have (mainly with online people) mean a little more to me. Don’t worry, you’re not alone, but I just try to see it a different way

@GLITTER I wish I had that. My interpersonal relationships at work always suffer to jealousy and competition.
I can be very happy in a role but others see me doing the job well and spend their time trying to mess me up!
Lunch time is cliquey and I'm usually excluded.
I'm not a fan of that type of behaviour so that's why any friendships I make mean so much more.
