A friends coming from the past
Idk if any of you heard of the INFJ door slam but.. if there is any INFJ trait in my personality, well it is that. I slam the door people's face when they hurt me several times and it is usually final.. I can't remember anyone coming back into my life..
I slammed that door with one of my friends many years ago, when she became too jealous and she would just compare herself to me, and just try to underestimate me. Over the years, she tried to talk to me, but we never got back together, even though I was no longer upset over jealousy and had forgotten about it, but I think I just got used to her absence and since i am such an introvert, meeting with people isn't something I'd initiate... ...
A few months back, I saw her by accident in a cafe.... It was sooo awkward and embarrassing because I had been dodging her literally for years..but it was okay, she seemed fine with me... and, she had changed a lot!!! Became so much more understanding, kinder and not jealous at all.. I think she was my friend for a reason, she did have me hysterically laugh last weekend i met her.. I don't laugh often, I mean at least not recently...it is only when I meet two of my friends.. and it is usually laughing over such silly things..
Anyhow.. I am meeting her again soon and it looks like we will meet regularly now.. It is a shame though that we drifted apart all of these years and now that I am about to leave, we are back..
