07/11/22 Dormant Friend?

Today I texted a coworker who i consider a friend. Worked with them for six months 2014. We be came really close friends.But we meet once a year to chat. But to my research from google is considered a dormant friend meaning our friendship isnt even casual. Last time i saw her was august 2021. We seems to agree we like talking to each other. Anyways she didn't recognize my number which I had her contact info in my phone. She remembered me when i texted my first name. Anyway i wonder if maybe she moving forward. Does any else have a relationship like this? When to know its time for friends to drift away?

@Fluffybull Im going that's the reason.She moved so she's an hour away. I usually drive all the way to her location. But im going to suggest meeting half away.
