If a past relationship broke you ,
What happens then , just the one relationship that broke , your illusions with other relationships are smashed .In other words , you trust no one .
What happens then , your left with the pain whats going on inside you , which makes you want to isolate or lose interest in life cause someone did you wrong .
You see through one person , you see through everyone .
And i have news for you , and i don't know you , the relationship was never made about you , and then they twists things and say its all your fault when really it wasn't.
Thats what you deal with , with relationships . Its all about them.
No wonder why im single got years .
But theres another catch then when your single especially with some people that are in relationships, not all , they'd end up calling you weird

I felt that way when I lost a close friend for the first time.
Before that moment I believed friendships were lifelong.
For several years, that experience of pain made me wary of friendships. I avoided investing too much in them.
Slowly, I've learned that the secret to enduring friendships is sharing similar values and interests, honesty, intimacy, integrity and taking time to get to know people.
Also, friendships require a commitment to spending time together, or at the very least keeping in touch regularly.

Friends are overrated.
I have friends but they are boring.

@GanglandCriminal97 Hmm, I think I understand.
Most schizos are harmless and need friendship just as much as the rest of us.
Maybe you could take a raincheck when you see the early signs that he's heading into an episode.
You could also tell him how you feel when he's in a normal phase.
Some are resistant to taking their antipsychotic meds. Might be worth a chat to see how he feels about them.
Some do better in certain types of jobs, like gardening - something which can be soothing.

@hartfire hes only into working out. Hes a black guy but hes very interested in Greek culture. He even gave himself a greek name but for the life of me i could never remember it.
I know how to cook a lot of greek and Mediterranean food so we have that in common.
He mostly only acts weird around sunset. Before and a couple hours after he is fine.
He stopped taking his meds a while ago. Idk if it's my place to tell him what to do with his life though.

@GanglandCriminal97 Definitely it's his choice what he does with his life. I'm sorry about the way I worded that; didn't mean to imply otherwise.
Sounds like he's fine as a mate to work out with and maybe share a coffee, Greek food and chat with at the right times of day.
If you feel you need more, different or deeper friendships, do you have other interests which could help you meet more people?

It’s normal to feel that way after a betrayal...give it time to heal!
