I have problem with a trip I was supposed to take with a friend.

I have BFF who is BFFs with a girl out of town Out of town girl is also a friend of mine and she has 3 kids but she’s not as close to me. My BFF and I sometimes go visit her 2h away. I like the trip there bc my BFF likes to drive (I don’t) and its the only time I get to catch up with with my BFF for the time it takes to get there and back.

Our out of town friend is having a party for one of her sons this weekend and me and my BFF were both supposed to go. But now she’s not well and I think she was hoping I would go without her to bring her the things she was supposed to bring to the party. This is dreadful for me, bc 1) I hate driving 2) I am not that much into kids 3) I have to go alone 4) I only really go just to be with my BFF, but I would never make the trip on my own normally.

What should I do?
