Family vs Friends

Does anyone else actually love their friends more than their family, by alot? When I lived at home I often felt lonely and isolated at my own house, rarely if ever getting any positive attention from my parents or siblings. Never felt left out or excluded with my friends and it feels like they actually care about me.

I hear you. The same is with me.
I have no connection at all to my "family." I am islolated there, the "black sheep," however you want to call it.
With my friend it´s different. There´s a deep connection, an understanding and I don´t feel lonely.

You can chose your friends, but you can´t chose your family.

sounds like my life growing ,,, being the oldest and both parents working i was mad eto make sure things where done and all of to school ,,, was not liked by my siblings and my father was very unhappy if what was to be done was not done ,, yes my friends that i did have meant more to me ,,,

It ain't versus rather it shud be Biological family n chosen family. Self explanatory.
