I hope he's not stressing too much

I broke my phone this morning and haven't been able to contact my friend, who I talk to during the day, to tell him. He gets worried if I go a while without responding to a message. I hope he doesn't think I'm dead or hurt. If I don't get a phone in the morning, I'll borrow someone else's to call him. I feel guilty
