I've been ignoring a close friend lately & I feel bad about it

It's mainly because I know she's gonna ask how I'm doing or what's been going on & I don't have an answer for any of that. At least not an answer I wanna give.

I have 17 unread messages from her & 6 missed calls by now. I just feel like a bad friend

Bro you better answer her. Before long you're going to lose her. So what if you can't answer those questions? If shes that close she'll understand. She won't pry for details. Can't tell you how many friends I've cut off, some of them very close friends, because they simply wont talk to me

@ChiefWalksWith40oz well can't speak for your situation but if shes important to you, I would honestly being trying to keep her close to me for as long as possible. I've screwed up a lot of friendships and relationships. Would give anything to have them back

@JestAJester that's understandable. If I had lost most of my friends from this shit I'd probably be just as cautious. I can live without anybody but that doesn't mean I should have to live without anybody.

@ChiefWalksWith40oz Don't say that bro. I mean of course you can live without people. But it is so dull and depressing. There will be days you'll wish you had someone there beside you. Maybe someone you can vent to, shear off all that weight on your shoulders. Maybe someone you can cut up with and laugh at silly things. Or maybe all you want is them to be there with you, their mere presence is soothing.
