@kimlovesummer No, you said it's because I wasn't a good friend. But yes, I need friends to practise being a friend.

@Manfredthemanic All you do is come on here wanting people to be sympathetic towards you. Just read all your posts, I think you're a pathetic person.

@kimlovesummer I come here to vent because I can't in my real life. You don't know me. You only see what I post.

no, most of those friendships have an expiration date anyway. Who we were back then, what we wanted out of life is so different than how most of us become.

I did, but not anymore, a couple years ago contacted one of my best friends on Facebook, nice brief talk, but it happened just before covid really happened we were gonna meet for coffee in the February of 2020, and next thing places like that were closed. Memories of those people are precious and could become tainted with renewed activity with them. imo of course.
I got lucky. My first few days when high school started, I met the two who would be my close friends. We kept to ourselves. Not part of the cool crowd but we loved to laugh and read and we didn’t care about cool. There’s alway a pretty one, a smart one and a borderline fool. If

I kept in touch with the people I enjoyed talking to back then now. The people I lost over the years. I don't think it was a bad thing. It happens either they didn't make an effort or I didn't. I figure there was a reason.
