Loud As Hell

My boyfriend asked me why I'm loud. I rolled my eyes and said" because I'm black, that's why and black people are loud asf just like Italians and Latinos. Not all of us "Well that's something were gonna have to work on because I don't want to lose my hearing.Im still young." was his response. 😂 He's rude as hell. My mom is loud as hell because her mom was loud as hell and her granny and so forth. Were products of our environment. My mom yells whether she's happy mad or neutral. That's how it is. Most times we don't even know we're loud. Were just used to talking loud even if you're sitting right next to us. Is it something I can work on? Of course with time any habit can be broken. I'm willing to work on it since it annoys my boyfriend sometimes and I don't want him to go deaf but at least he can joke about it.
