When you always have to be the first to text….

I have a friend who gets upset if I don’t text every day. It’s a bit frustrating considering she never texts me first to see how I’m doing or to check in. If you actually care about someone, wouldn’t you want to reach out first sometimes? I love talking to her, but it would be nice if she took some initiative and texted first once in a while.

Exactly- a relationship works both ways. I had one friend that used to do this so it finally took her 3 months to feel comfortable reaching out to me first and now no more problem.
