I've made friends and one in particular I thought was a life long friend. Unfortunately they left without saying why and that upset me. She was just a friend that had been my confidant for 2 years.

@VirginMatchmaker I hear you so well.
For me the worst thing in a friendship is when the friend leaves without saying why and without saying goodbye.

This has happened to me - after a 6 years longing friendship with daily contact.

@Loretta78 oh jeez that's even worse. I'm so sorry that happened to you.

Mine too was daily maybe 10 messages a day, but then they left. They left last year too for 3 months but eventually came back and I thought they were here to stay.

I wouldn't mind I even followed them to a another site that they introduced me too. They left there too.

@Loretta78 Thanks. I seem to endure way more than my fair share of bad experiences for some reason? All through my life it's been one after another, some life changing bad.

@Loretta78 thanks, I hope so. What I do know is I'm a survivor and have been for the last 20 years. When something bad comes along I know I'll get through it somehow.
