Nothing is permanent even virtual SW friends. Some left even without saying goodbye.
Maybe they don’t feel good being here anymore and found something better to do

I don't think most people see these sites as ways to make real and lasting friendships. I think many just find these sites fun to be on and share some laughs, but nothing too personal.
It use to bother me when people didn't want to be friends off the site we were on, but now... I try to keep a distance emotionally and not let it bother me so much.

@SW-User I don't know if it's a lesson learned or I just wait and see. lol
I made some great friends on other sites, met on person face to face and even dated him.
Had another friend who wanted a couple of us to meet him and his wife, but he died.
I think a lot depends on how well two people hit it off as friends.
