Do you have fake friends? And why you still keep them?

Most people are not my friends, they are usually associates or an acquaintance. And yes I know some of them are putting up a facade, but just as long as they're honest and sincere with me I tolerate them.

If you're seeking a perfect friend, then you shall become friendless.

The people I chat with on here and another site seem genuine because I can tell the fake ones from the real ones.

No...but I should get some, in case I find myself in a horror movie situation or other sort of experience where you need some expendable people. They should be slower (mentally & physically) & fatter...and provided with red shirts (just in case it is an outer space experience).

life is too short and unexpected to play pretend. If I don't feel comfortable around others or that I can be the closest thing to my true self then I wont even be friends with them to begin with.

I am very careful when it comes to the word "friend." I have no friends at all in real life and here only one friend. All other people whom I don´t trust are not my friends.

What's the point of fake things and what makes a friend actually a friend?

I'd say what I have is friends of a sort... not fake, just not real close and sharing life stories and secrets.

I had some very close friends... mostly passed away now.
