I Miss OnCloudWine! 馃槃

I wrote this under "friends" but truthfully I hardly knew her at all. 馃槄 One time I was drinking, we spontaneously decided to send each other voice messages over Skype lol. I feel like she's sorta' fading in and out of the community here, but I just remember she was an awesome person haha. I've got no idea if she's still here, or maybe under a different name, but I feel like she was being so much more real than many other users here. 馃ぃ

REAL users here seem hard to find... eventually you realize they are feeding you a pile of cow cookies!!
@Snuffy1957 how are you certain that the real users are the ones who are not feeding you cow cookies???
SheerF
@nonsensiclesnail I think as time goes on, even when it's online, you just begin to understand the people you write with.
@Sheer I agree. In an even longer time you accept them for who they want you to believe they are.
SheerF
@nonsensiclesnail I think I accept people for who I think they are. I mean, all taken into consideration, if someone tells me that my view on them does not resemble a person they recognize as themselves, I doubt my own judgement. For the most part however, if anyone's being nasty, I don't really listen to their excuses or mental victim-parades.

@nonsensiclesnail because eventually the stories don't add up... That's been my experience in any way I know everyone is not like that but I have met quite a few who are
SheerF
@Snuffy1957 I have experienced people online telling me that my "stories" didn't add up, too, though. It makes very little sense to me however, as I've said things like they are, since I was raised by a father who valued truth over almost anything LOL. There are many people who will to interprit everything you say, in their own ways, and then decide what you say next, isn't right, according to their view of you. Purposfully misunderstanding others, due to paranoia or other psychological issues, can also be a nasty thing to deal with, in my experience.
Snuffy195761-69, M
@Sheer that's very true! I'm not saying I am right and I do not try to misunderstand people... I'm usually brokenhearted when I think someone is lying to me...
I just want to make friends :-)
@Snuffy1957 oh I agree, and liars are boring. They can never stay on character or keep their stories straight. And it hurts like hell when you鈥檙e good friend is just a character they tire of playing. But the one thing they are doing that is positive?? Not wasting you鈥檙e time because they are so obvious they glow in the dark. It鈥檚 easy to walk away when they are only words on a screen.
SheerF
@Snuffy1957 It's my belief that if you think someone is lying to you, you should confront them with it, and see how they respond. If they respond in a reasonable manner, it could have been a misunderstanding, but if they're pushing away the issue, it might be that they are indeed not who they want you to believe they are.
Snuffy195761-69, M
@Sheer I hold the same belief :-) and when I have confronted them about it I usually get blocked..
But I must admit there are times when I confront him about it we could have straightened out and find out I was wrong and not near as perfect as I would like to be LOL
Snuffy195761-69, M
@Sheer I LOVE the way you think 馃
SheerF
@Snuffy1957 Yes, I have had that experience a few times online. I confronted a person, and they responded by blocking me. I am not much of a gambler, but I dare bet the people you met were men, acting as women. That's been my personal experience. I wrote with someone once, who pretended to be a woman, and I was very certain of it for a while. I did however like him as a person, and wanted to actually just talk straight with him, keeping in contact. Unfortunately he blocked me when I mentioned that to him. I think he was afraid of getting called out.
SheerF
@Snuffy1957 Wow, thank you. 馃槃

@Sheer same thing here :-)
And you are very welcome馃槑
