Disappearing before my very eyes.....

Someone I'd only come across a few times and had a bit of fun with on the boards, disappeared before my very eyes last night.
No fanfare, no complaining, just they'd enjoyed being here, but it was time to go.

Just the kind of person you want to stay 😔

I remember being on EP, when someone I'd chatted to for a couple of months, disappeared *poof* I was actually looking at their profile when their posts began to disappear one by one and then everything just went blank. That was a bit of a heart-wrencher.

And this person leaving last night reminded me of how temporary this place is.

Last night, someone who had added me as a friend when I first started here...has said he is done here. I appreciated his kind ways and how he messaged me and told me to stay here.
I realize we will all leave when it's the right time for us. He was a good one here. :)

I noticed your exchange and I think it was the same person.
I thought your 'Sell-by date' post was very clever and in this case, pertinent.
You're right. I think it's sad that people like that leave, since they meant something to others at a time when they connected.
He left with good grace which shows the kind of person he was.
I'm sorry you lost a good friend 😌

@Lacemaker Yes, it was the same person. Before that, I had another "friend" leave without a word to anyone.
Thank you for your thoughts on my post. :)
We didn't know each other really well, but I think part of being a friend is the encouragement and care, even with much of a past to go on.
