If you are a freelancer she isn't your boss even though she is paying for your work. She is your customer. If she were your employer she would be responsible for all sorts of things like taxes, insurance, holiday pay, etc.
Sounds like you haven't got a really clear contract with her. Or perhaps not a clear understanding between the two of you of who is responsible for what.
@ninalanyon I think there isn't a ckear understanding of what is expected of me. Because I was under the impression that I was working 4 hours a week only. But I seem to have been doing a few full days and 4 hours a day when I go into work.
I'm writing all the information down as to when I'm working. So I will have to be paid for that.
@Mellowgirl Make sure that she knows that you are working more hours than expected and that you expect to be paid pro rata for it. Make sure she understands as soon as possible and that you can be confident in her response.
@SoLeRiMix no if she pays she picks the food she wants and I must go along with it if she's paying. But I have one option of a small side. Where she picks what she wants main and a side of a meat or whatever. We share it all. The Mcdonalds though she happily ordered what she wanted on my cash!
