MayorOfCrushtown I have thought that most of his TV appearances as well practically all of his movies rely on pure stupidity for their comedic value which for some reason has been appealing since the mid nineties. I specifically asked chatgpt when stupidity replaced jokes as humor and it specifically tied the trend to beginning with Beavis and Butthead as well as South Park but did not include the Simpsons which began approximately 4 years earlier and was part of Tracy Allman episode 3 years prior than being it's own show When asked why this was an interesting answer was given.
