how do you 'put up' with all the ads on youtube now

when watching youtube on my computer i have adblockers so i don't see the ads...but on my smart phone i have to put up with all the ads, so i give up watching on my iphone because i can't tolerate all the ads now.

in 2005, when youtube first started, there never used to be ads.
