Do any European or Asian grapes taste like cherries or black currants?

Lots of wine grapes are thought to have cherry like flavours. Pinot Noir or Gamay (Beaujolais) or many Italian wines especially those based on Sangiovese (e.g. Chianti). Blackcurrant is very often associated with Cabernet Sauvignon and is seen as a tell-tale marker of Cab Sauv wines
