When you go to a wine tasting, you spit the wine out in a bucket after you taste it?

I just heard this, that when you go to a wine tasting, you have a small bucket, where you are supposed to spit the wine out?

You don’t actually drink it?

Is this true? 🤯

It depends. If you’re in a sterile environment. Like a wine tasting event at a single location.

I like to do winery visits. As in a single winery. They usually have a tasting menu, where appetizers are paired with their current selection. It’s usually a handful of wines, a tiny amount each, that you sip with food.

I never drunk if it’s not paired with food. At home, or on the road.

I’ll stick to beer if I’m drinking.
