I Drink Whisky

I actually don't.

Mom asked me to buy her some because it supposedly helps rid a bad cold.
She took one sip and said it almost blew her head off😄

I tried it too, it is so gross. How do people get drunk off this stuff?🤔🤢

I adore whiskey - but it can be,well, strong.

Hot Toddy

1 oz (2 tablespoons) whiskey
1 tablespoon mild honey
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup boiling-hot water

My mom used to get these when she was tiny and sick. Hers, though, involved melted butter.

first, it CANT BE THE CHEAP STUFF
second, if it IS the good stuff? water, ice, and 2 parts water to one part whisky is NOT painful.. and you can get some really interesting tastes

@iamnikki it is swill, and many will hate me for saying that.
HARD liqour. anything over say 20% alchohol
will always burn. that is why the water.

for a cold? make some hot tea, with lots of lemon and sugar.
add a finger or two of that booze.
