I am thinking about trying it. [I am Vegan]
As a child we grew up with our parents cooking and we are what they cooked. I learned that you don't always have to eat me every day and I thought that was part of the meal growing up. So like two days ago I want to try to go vegan, well try a vegan life style. Well I want to do it for health reasons and plus both my mom and my dad's sides of the family, diabetes runs in the family. On my mom's side some people have heart problems. One of my uncles had diabetes and let's just say he had to have both his legs removed and I don't want to go into that too much. Too heartbreaking. He unfortunately passed away in 2014. Anyways I want to avoid having diabetes so I decided to try something new. I didn't eat meat at all yesterday and there was some days that I didn't ear meat all the time and that's ok. Some people will probably think it's weird but I don't care. I've been watching some YouTube videos on beginners on how to plan vegan meals and stuff like that. I'm in the past couple of months I did lose some weight but I don't know if I lost any or not but I still been working out. To tell you the truth I actually wanted to try to not eat a lot of meat in the past, but I was afraid of what people will think. I do love me some macaroni and cheese and some steak and ribs. They're so good of course I have them once in a while. I can't guarantee that I'm going to stop eating meat completely but I'm willing to try this vegan life style. Sorry I tend to rant like this sometimes, but I just want to be specific. Can vegans eat meat once in a while or not at ALL? I'm new at this.
So do y'all have any tips for me? I would appreciate it. Thanks.
