I am Vegan

I've been one for eighteen years now and although (some) vegans have a bad reputation for being preachy and over zealous, I feel like my attitude will reflect on the whole tribe of us, so I strive to be a non-judgey vegan and I do understand how people bond over a bacon sandwich but as long as no one tries to shove one in my face crowing,'you want it, you know you do!' It's a personal choice.🐄

Agreed. I've been a vegetarian since childhood but haven't taken the final step of eliminating all dairy produce. At least there's a difference of degree between killing an animal and milking a cow, although I admit preferring not to think about where the ingredient of my yogurt actually comes from!

@alan20 Plenty of delicious vegan yogurts and desserts, even ice cream.

@Beanie Might well look into that. I recently discovered a creperie that does delicious vegan pancakes : buckwheat and rice milk. Only problem is - its 300 miles away (in Killarney). I'm no cook!
