I'm not much of a tequila drinker

So we're having a big party for Joel's birthday this Saturday night. It's a little late because his grandma was out of town. I don't drink much tequila and don't know much about it but he really likes it. I want to get him a really nice bottle to go with the cigars I got him. So any suggestions on what brand is the best? Something he wouldn't normally buy.
