I know jazz is not every one's cup of tea..

But I really love it's will to survive and push the envelope.and it demands effort to gain its true worth..

This is my current favorite find..

I am pretty much stuck on rewind.. With it.. For some reason it really resonates with me.

I love Jazz. There’s a nice jazz club downtown you’d like near union station

@Jenny1234

Thanks for the heads up.

Rezervoir lounge... I am familiar with it. I have not seen a set there.. I've been to the Orbit Room, Cameron house and the Rex Hotel..

Last time I went out for a night of live jazz was in Montreal. I also saw Herbie Hancock with Terence Blanchard last year, which was great!!

Id love to go out more but finding the time is tough.

@bijouxbroussard A friend of mine played with Stanley Turrentine in New York City: live gigs, no recording. He showed me photos from back in the 80s. He said he would drink a whole bottle of brandy before getting on stage.

@BobbyMoeven Years ago, I saw the Clint Eastwood movie Straight No Chaser about Thelonious Monk. I totally got it. I went to get some CDs of his and discovered I had a few in my collection. Apparently, I didn't understand his music until I saw him play in that documentary. I immediately fell in love with him and his music.
after 2:30 is fine
