Good Friday Morning 鈽曪笍

Hope you have a bright energetic Friday 馃憤[image deleted]
I made a ginger tea. Sliced up some ginger placed it in water and slowly brought it to a boil. Reduced it to a simmer, added a few drops of fresh squeezed lemon and added a bit of cinnamon and a drop of honey. Put in the fridge. Will wait and see what I came away with.

@soar2newhighs Looks inviting. I will try that recipe sometime 馃憤
@WandererTony I鈥檓 not a regular tea drinker but I started on a diet and I know three ingredients that can鈥檛 hurt. Ginger, lemon, water. The cinnamon and honey are optional, but I had to cut back on sugar so these two work in its place for certain recipes. I鈥檓 really a coffee drinker and will spend $$$ for good blends at this place in NYC west village.

@soar2newhighs I prefer tea in the morning, coffee in the early evenings and whisky in the late evenings. Works well for me 馃槉

@WandererTony sure is!!
Is the tea oolong?
If a bright sunny day makes you feel energetic then....enjoy! Still Thursday here but Friday is going to be a dark and rainy day.....I have boundless energy on dark days.

@fernie2 Not Oolong. It鈥檚 black tea though. The Darjeeling variety. It鈥檚 called Golden Orange Pikoe, if you are very specific about the variety and quality 馃槉
I love bright mornings. And with weekend near, I need that extra bit to complete the week.
Enjoy your Thursday evening. And a dark Friday 馃槂馃憤
How did you end up in the future馃槯

@PrincessVelvet hahaha. I am always in the future. Only the Aussies are ahead of me. 馃槆馃榾
[image deleted]@WandererTony on the subject of Whiskey, I had to order it. And it was also introduced ( but not for consumption) at McSoreley鈥檚 old ale house (166 or 167 years old) where it sits atop a shelf behind the bar.
