I Love Tea

I have been trying matcha tea. I can't say I enjoy the taste as much as regular tea but it seems to help me stay calm.

I switched on to decaff coffee over 20 years ago because I was getting palpitations. I switched on to decaff tea (afternoon teatime only lol) about 12 months ago - I'm certainly calmer now. My favourite blend though is English Breakfast (2 parts) to Lapsang Souchong (1 part).

@ArtieKat I like Lapsang Souchong too, as a more traditional tea, but Matcha has a lot less caffeine.

@Helen3652 I cannot confess to being an expert on tea (far from it) but I shared a flat once with a chap, who was an aficionado of tea. I do remember amongst his extensive collection on the kitchen shelf was a tin of Gunpowder Green China Tea. I am afraid that I was too much of a philistine to appreciate them at the time; I wish I had taken the opportunity to learn more from him at the time. You Helen sound like an expert. I will now acknowledge your superiority and bow out of this discussion to avoid making a complete idiot of myself.
