Well, it takes two years, but why don't you start an asparagus bed? It's fairly easy! Just bury some raw asparagus heads in a well fertilized composted area, and in two years, a perennial bed will have been established!

Didn't do real good growing this season . Most everything got eaten ,rotted or dug up . Got two zucchini , some cherry tomatoes and two strawberries .
