Please tell me how to germinate........ [I Love Strawberries]

..strawberry seeds from the strawberry fruit. I have tried 3-4 times and i always failed. Please tell.

I extracted them by removing the outer layer and placing it on piece paper over night.

I freezed them for three weeks in an airtight container, took them out for two hours and I placed them in a dirt seed tray , under direct sunlight besides the window, u have to wet the dirt and leave them partly exposed.

After two weeks they germinated.

@Miram I extracted them by taking off skin and placing it on tissue paper and then in sunlight for 2 days. I got the dry seeds the black ones.

I put them in sand wet it and cover the pot with cellophane. Nothing comes out even after 3-4 weeks only some other weed grass perhaps...

I did that window sunlight and night indoors etc.

@scorpio611 sand? Try the freezing technique and use plastic instead. Don"t over water it , just keep the dirt wet and remove the bag sometimes for air, they need stable environment to grow first
