I don't feel the same about smooth jazz and 80's music anymore

Just feels like I'm meant to leave it in the past and listen to newer stuff.
Anyone else had this shift happen?

Over my life I've changed my preferred music several times. Now certain styles amuse and/or stir up nostalgia rather than the passions they might have accompanied when I was younger. I have come back to classical music as my 'go to', but still enjoy an occasional blast of house/dance or pop and disco (I've lived a long time!). I know some people stick with the same thing all their lives, but I'm sure it's OK to move on.
