Jamba Juice assholes

I’m back in Thousand Oaks tonight, TO being in Jamba Juice territory. I’m living in Ventura these days, which squarely belongs to Blenders in The Grass, but I came back home to do some laundry (fuck laundromats I’m not paying $30 to wash a month’s worth of laundry when I can do that here for free) and I just remembered that I can totally get Jamba Juice out here… except when I looked it up to find a location, I saw that all locations except for one in fucking Woodland Hills have decided that they now close at fucking 7pm every fucking night. Fucking assholes

I have Jamba juice at home using my blender and real whole fruit.

@StygianKohlrabi I mean you got smoothies yes, but Jamba Juice smoothies are higher tier than just throwing some bananas, strawberries and blueberries in a blender with some ice. The multitude of ingredients and exact ratios of them are what make Jamba Juice better than most homemade smoothies.
@Zeuro I've been there before and I can make better ones. I heard they don't even use whole fruit. I don't care how good they "taste". True story bro. You can keep your multitude of ultra processed ingredients.

@StygianKohlrabi lol you say you can make better ones, and yet you don’t care how good they taste? The main criteria I and most people judge smoothies on are taste, generally followed by texture. Nutritional value is tertiary at best. So sure, I definitely believe you can make healthier smoothies at home, but you really can’t call them better when taste is not even a factor in your evaluation.

@StygianKohlrabi also, I don’t know how you make that jump from they don’t use the entire fruit to it’s ultra processed logically. If I slice an apple but don’t include the core, or I squeeze in the juice from an orange but ditch the rind, is that smoothie now ultra processed? I mean heck, if that does fit the definition for processed, I frankly don’t see what’s so horrible about a thusly processed smoothie
@Zeuro jamba drinks are packed with sugar and sherbet and sweet processed bases. an apple is still an apple. i mostly drink smoothies for the nutrition. you can get cleaner drinks there. if I want something tasty I'll have a pastry. but I don't really mind if you like it. I'll allow it.

@StygianKohlrabi oh, you’ll allow it, well thank heavens you have allowed me to like good smoothies. Lol. FYI, the sugar and sherbet and whatnot are what make them better. You are allowed to say your smoothies are healthier, of course. The designation of better, however, defaults to the tastier of the two.
