Aren’t plant alive too? But the plant lives don’t matter ? Why do you get to decide what living thing matters ?

@Whyme I know you’re partially being silly but it’s true.
I think the real problem is, stop consuming and wasting our precious earth.
Other animals eat meat, but we’re the only ones gettin fat.

@SW-User honestly the key is probably moderation and ild say sugar is the enemy of people not meat but that’s just my opinion

SW-User
@Whyme Eating in moderation would work wonders. It’s just so easy for us overindulge, it becomes wasteful.
Plants contain sugar, fruits… our bodies need all this stuff, but we way overdo it. Then sit at a desk job all day.
I think the corporations just know how humans react to sugar. It’s our nature. So they make it colorful, advertise it, form it into moms dark chocolate and kids cereal then we are hooked.

@SW-User I read it’s the most addicted to substance on the earth

@SW-User But that has nothing to do with eating meat. People have been eating meat for as long as there has been people. Our expanding waistline is a recent phenomenon.

SW-User
@Paladin Yeah I understand that.
My point is eating any natural food source is healthy for humans. We’re omnivores.
This recent phenomenon is what turns it into the issue of factory farming so people can have their McDonald’s. THAT is indeed sad. I worked on a dairy farm, cattle are treated like shit so you can have 100% real cheddar in your cheezits.
Like it or not it’s all connected. Our human wastefulness is pathetic and deters me from eating a lot of meat. And I will not consume dairy.

@Whyme if you look into human biology, sweets were once very rare for us. Berries and fruit aren’t addictive. But we would eat them up as they’re yummy and hard to come by. It’s natural for us to want more and more sweets.
Modern marketing, even the diet industry plays on our biological and psychological traits to sell.
My only point is that it’s all messed up 😆 I am very careful about what I eat. I prefer a paleo style diet.

@Whyme Liberals always want to dictate things like this. It is one part of Agenda 2030 to do away with grazing livestock so they can seize ranch lands and farms.
