Despite this thing being ridiculously expensive, I think it is one of the best long term investments!

This Robo litter has automated cyling I set at 30 mins after 💩 is detected to ensure it has clumped .. But I may reduce the timing, because I feel I could smell it sometimes. One kitty is better at burying his waste than the other.. Yet even this time when I turned on manual cycle while waste has not clumped, still the way it works, the litter falls allover waste natueally! The way this is clean and efficient, is really a huge pro.. not one mistake in getting rid of waste.. Kitties 😸 are usually so impressed with Technology lol! Anytime it starts cycling or the automated feeder pushes out food, they sit there watching with such intrigue lol

Once they have used it enough, it should also provide insights on each Kitty's health as it could detect them by wight! So far no weight is calculated.. I wonder if it is just a matter of time or because Kitties are too tiny, that machine cannot detect their weight. I think it could be either but the latter is very possible because I even have to watch to ensure the cycle doesn't run while a kitty is inside, given they are possibly under the weight threshold for the machine to detect someone is inside and therefore put the cycle on hold. I am sure kitty would jump out anyway the minute this thing moves, but the last thing i want, is having Kitty put in the waste drawer O.o I guess will find out in a couple of days if the app is able to gather weight information! I am so interested in this as I don't seem to be able to detect the weight difference myself. One minute a kitty looks smaller, another minute his body expands 🥔🤷‍♀

Note: This post is also dedicated to those of you who have 💩 fet!sh

Oh I saw this thing at Costco, I was wondering what it was like.

I have an open tub-style one and there is no option for programming the clean cyle, so it always runs too soon after my cat gets out of it - never has time to adequately clump.

But if your kittens don't see you scooping their poop how are they supposed to know you love them?

My son has one of those.
We just scoop it out the old fashioned way a couple of times per day.

They are a fairly large breed, correct? They will be putting on weight & size rapidly, I think. But if your power goes out, you may have to scoop the old fashioned way. 😱
Never presume that Kitty will jump out. There are scary stories online where kitties died trying to escape cheap self cleaning trays in a cleaning cycle.

I've not heard anything about that particular brand, though, probably because it operates in a different way and doesn't close off the entry/exit during cleaning.

Does this seem to you that I am assuming they will jump out?
