@EarthlingWise It is not the same as when you get it as a child though. The impact and the influence it has on shaping your personality and equipping you with confidence and assurance is way stronger.
@BittersweetPotato Even loving parents can fail to develop confidence in a child, nothing is black or white. We all have to nourish the love we get, wherever it comes from, whenever it presents itself, and however flawed it is. Not saying this to contradict you, but rather to remind you that no-one is a rock, so don't feel like you're weaker than others.

@EarthlingWise Yes you are right, which is why I still do well, and build my own confidence. But sometimes I feel people were taught and encouraged to be confident since they were kids, it is second nature to them, and they don't have to struggle as much.
