Just bought a huge bottle of olive oil and only now I feel safe and secure 🥔🥴

@Elessar Premium olive oil outside of Europe and the Med is very expensive, it's not like you can go to your local grower and processor and get it straight from the tap on the ageing tank.

@NativePortlander1970 It's got hella expensive also here, at least relatively to the median income. Also very easy to get counterfeit, only certain way to have active oil is having your own olives, and squeezing them yourselves

@beermeplease I remember as a kid in the 70's catching a good 15 pounder out of the Columbia near the Astoria estuary.
