I truly enjoy bullying bullies
I've had a good relationship with my landlord throughout the entire tenancy agreement. I mean why wouldn’t I? Paid him rent in advance and then after the first year paid rent on time, not a day late. It all started going south when I gave my notice. Idk he started to act out or something because now he has to find a new tenant? Started making weird requests around showings as if I am his agent not a tenant who paid their rent in full. That’s when we got into conflicts, as I asked him to phuk off I am NOT YOUR AGENT.
I returned the keys per the instructions he gave me on the last day and asked him to refund my key deposit, he postponed so much saying he will inspect the unit soon, only to find him come two weeks later claiming that one key was missing and that I replaced the fob with that of another building. WTF LOL. Good thing I like to keep evidence of everything, I mean I am an auditor afterall. I took pictures of the entire condo and the keys in the lockbox before leaving in case something like this happens, so I had evidence of the returned keys, that they were not lost.
I did not even care to entertain his claim, I was like give me my money back orrrr.. It took only threatening him with complaining to the police for falsely accusing me without proof in writing, using aggressive language, and with filing a dispute to get my money based on the pictures and correspondences I have with him (both complaints were not just threats, but I was genuinely going to do it) for him to return my money literally an hour later without even responding to my email. Just sent a new email saying refunded your money in full.
Proving that it was a total lie!! Not that I was doubting it because how the phuk will the keys and fob be replaced while placed in a lockbox! But how insane that he would lie such a big lie and have no problem sending such long emails with accusations while he knows he is lying!!
I feel I am not done with him yet, it is like I still want to complain about him and hand in these correspondences so he can get fucked. The other thing, I am going to write a detailed review and provide his unit by number in the review, good luck finding a new tenant!!
Part of me is even disappointed that he caved in that quickly, it is like I did want to drag him into complaints even though the amount wasn’t that big but I would not have let him have an extra dollar, what an asshole!
