Rome is resplendent in the sunshine ☀
You should visit Rome in the summer and see if you have a love for the city as most people who live here do. My mother was very diligent in her stocking up of our refrigerator with food for us to make sure we were not hungry last night on our arrival back. I made pasta 🍝 for us, with a salad and some wine 🍷.
We tumbled into bed later, indeed both Chiara and Edoardo are still in bed and it has gone nine. It’s twenty six degrees and expected to be thirty five Celsius this afternoon so we have to wear lightweight clothes if we go out anywhere. I’m enjoying my coffee in the kitchen naked, and the garden door is open. Our neighbours returned our animals last night so we have the cat 🐈⬛ home. She is quite happy to be queen of the house!
Our guard dog is at my parents house and she is coming home tomorrow after church ⛪. I’m going to get my running 🏃♀ gear on and go for a run around the neighbourhood.
