How old were you when you retired. Got laid off on Pril 3rd so I think I'm going to just call it quits. I guess i can afford to retire. Just trying to wrap my head around it. I'm 63. Thought i was going to go at least another year. Know a lot of folks that retired younger than me. My brother kept working then died of cancer two years after retiring. My old boss died a year before he was going to retire. Actually, two of them did.

@Tastyfrzz better work till full retirement i retired early because wife lost her job and we only need 3 more years to pay house off so i took retire at 62 and kept working . i lost 30% of retirement that way it wasemt worth it and now im totally retired and its the hardest job i ever had .

@Tastyfrzz Yes. I was laid off too. I was preparing for it. Sold and bought homes. Everything worked out. Living the dream now.
