McDonalds is taking self serve drinks out of the lobby to prevent refills and theft. Will you stop going there?

damn, i kinda liked drinking 3 gallons of tea with my cheeseburger. LOL
@ReptilianFromPlanetCrush Are there ever times that you might just want another cup of tea and the ability to get it when you want it?

No,i would do the same thing,just like condiments, you want it you ask for it,to many people taking advantage of the system. :)
@Ramrod I agree - but that worked when there were employees to ask. Most McDonalds I go to dont even have a person at the counter - just kiosks to make customers do all the work of placing the order and just wait for someone to shove a bag at you. You have to chase someone down to ask for anything.

I haven't been to McDonalds since 1972 when owner Ray Kroc donated $250;000 to Nixon's reelection campaign.

Don’t eat there anyway
@James1956 Not what I asked

I can’t stop going to someplace that I don’t eat at, now can I?

Don’t care. Haven’t been to McDonald’s in years.
@jackson55 Right - and you didnt answer it. You just spouted some useless information that no one asked for.
hunkalove · 70-79, M
@AmericanAvenger He answered the question. He stopped going there years ago. Me too.
@hunkalove No he did not. That did not address the question. If the two of you are not smart enough to see that. In fact, we you are saying know actually contradicts what you accused me of. Think about that for a while while I move on.

I rarely go to McDonald's but seen people get a drink fill it up while eating and then fill it up before leaving sometimes whole families, only way to combat it is to take them out or raise drink prices
@Likestoenjoylife The fountains are out in the lobby so people can do that. I see nothing wrong with getting a refill to go. A sit down restaurant refills your drink as many times as you want. The cost of soft drinks is so low that they can afford to provide that courtesy to customers. Drinks can actually be more profitable since most people cant consume enough to surpass that cost. It is the same concept that all you can eat buffets work on. A drink that is half filled with ice can cost a customer damn near $3 - you can get 2 liters of soda for that at Dollar Tree.

However, people who walk in with a cup that they didnt buy to fill up are the problem.
