Well, here's evidence.
Honestly, this story got misreported all over by people with an Agenda.
Not at all the frivolous lawsuit it was painted as, and I would pull out the images of Stella's Third degree burns as Screen shots but I'm not sure how the Staff around here would take to such Graphic and stomach churning and horrifying images.
Stella had 3rd degree burns and some 2nd degree, she had to get major surgery, skin grafts and everything and never maintained the same semblance of independence again.
I eat there sometimes so I know a corporations best interest isn't to bar customers who sue or agree with lawsuits against them it benefits them to let bygones be bygones and not hold grudges.
I also opt out EVERY TIME I buy new technology of binding arbitration clauses.
I collect the records of this and even post about it online because I want more people to take the trouble and to use my influence to encourage it.
I also don't want to share the images directly because I care about you kind reader and I don't want to expose you to that without your explicit consent because it's horrific.

I would also like to note for the record that Fear of being sued for this lead to disposable coffee cup innnovation to make it possible to add things without removing the lid entirely.
