Italians versus McDonald's

Apparently the Italians hated McDonald's...

So McDonald's decided to lie to them, by creating a fake high-end restaurant, that only served burgers... and the Italians absolutely loved it... except, it was only McDonald's in disguise.

@Jexie Only time in my life I went to one, it was because I was drunk as hell and my friends brought me there to resurrect me with some food. It was so bad that the drunken state passed for a solid 5 minutes in which I had my usual dramatic rant

Idk if it's any better elsewhere, but the one in my city was rather terrible

@Jexie .. Instead, there's also a guy near here who lived in the States for 10ish years then came back and opened his own artisanal burger shop inspired to the artisanal ones he tried there (I think Texas, he told me 5ish years ago and I may remember wrongly), making the buns from scratch even; and those are really good.

They cost easily 5x as much as a McD's though 😅 but absolutely worth it, not even comparable. If I want a (good) burger I go with those
