Italians versus McDonald's

Apparently the Italians hated McDonald's...

So McDonald's decided to lie to them, by creating a fake high-end restaurant, that only served burgers... and the Italians absolutely loved it... except, it was only McDonald's in disguise.

So, 'the entire nation' ate in one restaurant in Milan? I think not. MacDonalds is good at what it does: which isn't gourmet in any way. I dislike gourmet and dislike MacDonalds equally except that the latter is at a lower price point. Great ad though.
