No way! I could not physically eat that much food.

@AbbeyRhode What if you skip the Diet Coke?
AbbeyRhode · F
@Nimbus Better yet, skip McD's and get some real food. 😁

@AbbeyRhode Good point!

@AbbeyRhode no joke I would rather eat a can of kidney beans, heated & drained with olive oil & lemon juice squeezed on it and salt and pepper. That is good & filling & real food that hasn’t been messed with. Less than a dollar too.

@cherokeepatti Same here. The food was always questionable, but now with the economy tanking, food in short supply, and the Commie government wanting us to eat bugs, God only knows what they're adding to that food.

@AbbeyRhode I prefer to cook at home because of this. I have food sensitivities anyway. The MSG in fast foods is bad enough, messes with my heart rhythms. And then there’s the deep-fried foods like French fries. That oil is reused and kept hot and it is toxic to our DNA, it causes free-radical damage and can unravel the DNA. I wouldn’t even reuse cooking oils one time at home due to that, had a microbiologist and a chemist tell me that.

@cherokeepatti I never re-use, either. I very rarely deep-fry, and then I discard the oil.

@AbbeyRhode I made fried chicken for the first time in nearly a year. Used avocado oil (which isn’t cheap) to fry in the skillet and a gluten free flour to bread it with. It was good but even at home fried chicken is a rare treat now. Need to stay healthy.

@cherokeepatti I use olive oil (also not cheap) and King Arthur flour for the others, and almond or coconut flour for me. I think I'm slowly influencing my family to eat healthier.

@AbbeyRhode coconut oil is healthy too. Some think it raises cholesterol because it is solid but it melts at about 75 degrees and our bodies are 96 degrees. As long as you aren’t sensitive to it then it should be good. I like MTC oil the best but it’s too expensive to fry in. I use it for keto mug cakes and also for waffles.

@cherokeepatti I love coconut oil, but the others would object to the taste, even though it's subtle.

@AbbeyRhode It is good in keto pancakes and waffles with some vanilla in the batter. Coconut flour, coconut oil, stevia, eggs, vanilla, baking powder and a little salt. I don’t measure anything just eyeball it. Also use it and flax meal in the keto mug cakes.

@cherokeepatti I have to try that. I only recently discovered a really good Keto maple syrup.

@AbbeyRhode You can make a lot of different flavors of those mug cakes and also waffles if you want to change it up a bit.

@cherokeepatti I have tried several different mug cakes. The Big Man's World has a lot of very good Keto recipes. :)

@AbbeyRhode I just stir up the ingredients any more without measuring and they turn out good.
